FORMATION SKYDIVING
Relative Work
Formation skydiving is one of the most widespread and practiced disciplines of skydiving.
In relative flight there are several skydivers who during free fall perform different formations, figures or sequences in a face down position (known as standard or belly).
Formations can range from 2 people (2-way) to hundreds of skydivers. The most common are: 4-way sequential, 8-way sequential, 16-way sequential and large formations (big-ways).
FLIGHT TRAINING IN FORMATION
Although jumping with other skydivers and taking the first steps in formation flying is relatively simple, if we want to progress it is essential that we acquire a good foundation in this modality and that we learn the appropriate freefall techniques.
For an expert skydiver, there is nothing more frustrating than having reached a certain level and having the “vices” acquired during self-taught learning slow down their progression.
At Skydive Empuriabrava we have highly qualified instructors to help you progress in this modality of skydiving, a personalized or group service where the instructor will record all the jumps on video.
